Impala Athena 28 Cruiser – Ginger Taylor

The Athena from Impala Skateboards is a modern cruiser with oldschool flare that lets you pop and ollie or manual when you want to.

The graphics are a collaboration with Ginger Taylor, a Melbourne-based artist & illustrator recognised for her distinctive ‘rubber hose’ vintage-style illustrations exploring themes of empowerment and positivity. Ginger is influenced by vintage Americana themes and retro-cartoons, which is strongly portrayed in her artwork; the young Ginger Taylor saw cartoons everywhere, as though she was living in her favourite film, Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
